-the teabaggers are you kidding!!!!
the democrates gave them a more than fair deal and they declined!!!the teabaggers are you kidding!!!!
the democrates gave them a more than fair deal and they declined!!!Most people know that both parties are at fault. Your question is which one owns the biggest share of the blame. If you believe that the current economic crisis is the result of over spending, then the numbers are irrefutable- the democrats. If you believe the problem is not taxing enough- the republicans.
Wasn't going to respond, but then I saw all the very misinformed responses. Come on people. Put you ideological beliefs aside. Since this debate began only one party has even attempted to solve the problem, and that would be the Republicans. Even if you disagree with them, at least they have put forth bills (3 to be exact). The Democrats on the other hand won't even read the bills and have yet to put forth a single bill themselves. The Dems are purely playing politics with the economy while the Republicans are at least attempting to solve the problem. It's similar to the budget debate. The Dems point the fingers at the Reps for their budget, but have yet to put forth one themselves. Actually, that would make the Dems the true party of no. In fact, they are worse than that since they are playing politics with Americas future. How can you bash plans by others without having a plan yourself? It's really a pretty easy conclusion to see that the Dems are completely inept at running a country. 2012 time for real change!
The GOP, who tied the raise in the ceiling to passage of a spending bill.
This is the FIRST time in US history that there has been any attachment or rider to the passage of the ceiling. It's always passed as a "clean bill."
the democrats were working on a bill that 3 to 1 favored republicans, the republicans rejected it, does that answer your question?
The House passed a bill to raise the debt ceiling
the Democrats in the senate voted it out
so I blame the democrata
Which party is trying to use the debt ceiling as leverage to lock in Tax cuts for the uber wealthy?
The ruling class party- the DemoPublicans
both. both sides have put forth offers and both have declined and both seem to refuse compromise
Stay tuned into clusterfaux tv for all the information you will ever need.
Both; We don't have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem.
Republicans. A straight up or down was always possible, just like in the past.
Democrats
Democrats!!!! They had over 800 day to get a budget into place.
