To answer..Yeah, that's the dirty little secret you won't hear from msnbc. Keeping obamacare intact (at any cost) throughout this 'process' is at the top of his list. The rest is just maintaining and expanding the size, scope, and power of the God he worships..BIG GOVERNMENT.The debt hike is to cover what we have already sent. If you get that 'cut, cap and balance' in our nation will become a third world nation, how can we get the money to repair our crumbling roads and bridges. First you have to get the revenue, then the congress has to decide which project but all fifty states has needs and several of them are falling down. Now if you get a loan and finance a bridge project putting a hundred or so people to work we receive taxes from them and the community receives money and the Government receives sales taxes. Which sounds better?
He desperately wants to prevent any damage to Obama Care and has to defend wasteful spending programs which produced little or no results. He is in essence needing good money to throw after bad and many of us recognize the fact. His insistence that the new debt ceiling extend into 2013 is a desperate ploy to help get him re elected because if a short term deal was brokered, he wouldn't stand a chance.
