-I'm starting to think one does not exist and i know there is int one on TV. biased news makes me sick republicans blaming democrats and vice versa like children. I'm only 16 and i feel that i am more mature than any member of the house or senate. OH and on a different subject if i refuse to vote for anyone who has ever "tweeted" is there anyone left to vote for? YOUR MOST LIKELY 50+ GROW UP!There is always bias in reporting the news, just depends on how much and what kind.
If you want to be free of party bias, try infowars.com or drudgereport.com...it's where the news agencies get the raw news to make their news. Try foreign news outlets. American and British media are completely spinned to make people dummies.
And no, NPR has some very liberal talk shows, there are some conservative ones too, but I wouldn't call that unbiased, just balanced bias. The only way to get the real news is to listen to multiple sources about the same story, just like a detective does with witnesses to a crime ;o)
When you listen, ask yourself this - who is best raising an issue, then interviewing professionals on that topic with differing points of view, asking exploratory questions but otherwise keeping their own mouths shut. That is journalism.
I challenge anyone here to listen to an hour of NPR and an hour of FOX with that experiment in mind.
I watch abc news with Diane Sawyer. She is really balanced. The channel as a whole is pretty moderate, but leans a little bit left because of people such as George Sephanopolous. He is a decent journalist, but you can kind of hear his views seeping through.
I hope this helped!
Try NPR -- really. And if you want to hear extended discussion of one issue or another, stream "To The Point" with Warren Olney from PRI. http://www.kcrw.com/people/news/programs鈥?/a>
Can't recommend To The Point enough. Everybody gets to talk without interruption.
No source can be completely unbiased because those who report the news let their personal opinions influence their reporting.
According to associatedcontent.com.......

...is the most balanced internet news site.
There are plenty, and none of them are "Fox news". The BBC is good although they are not American. They post a lot of what's considered *secrets* (stuff US news doesn't want you to know) here.
You'll find npr and pbs are what you're looking for.
Politifact.com
Its all i got. I dont know even if this is correct. Sad I know.
