Navy boats internet access?

-My recruiter told me that on a navy boat you get high speed wifi internet the whole time because we have high tech military satellites providing the internet for you. I'm not sure if I actually believe this.... anybody like to put in their 2 cents?boats are submarines. they get pretty much zero interweb access period.



SHIPS are surface vessels. and no it is not hi speed and the satellites are there for the actual military equipment.. you know the radars and stuff.





and access to the web will be restricted.I can't speak for every ship, but I know my dad's ship (G W Bush) had internet. Granted, it was still in port, but still.
Depends on the ship and operation and location.



Sometime it may be disabled for operational security.
Why does it matter
