This is what it is all about. The GOP is looking at being slaughtered in 2012 with the Kill Medicare vote hanging over their heads.The article says that Reid's cuts are gimmicks that don't really reduce spending. One is a trillion on less spending on Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. We have to get serious here about cutting spending because our debt is already over 100% of our GDP and at $1.5 trillion deficits per year, it will be doubled in less than 10 years. All we ever pay on the debt is interest so it just keeps accumulating. It can't continue or austerity measures will be imposed on the American people like they were in Greece. That isn't just a possibility. Its a certainty.
