Why is Pedophilia a crime?

-I don't see Pedophilia any different from homosexuality. Both are mental diseases and people need help, it's not funny to make fun of Pedohphiles, we should help them if anythingI'm not condoning pedophilia but there is a difference between pedophiles and child molesters. Pedophiles have interest in relations with underage children (specifically prepubescent children). That doesn't necessarily make one a child molester. A child molester would be a person who acts out on these desires with a child who is underage, which would then be illegal. I agree that this is a mental disorder. I do not agree with your comparison to homosexuality also being a mental disorder.



Again, I'm not condoning any adult taking a sexual interest in prepubescent children, but just taking an interest is not the same as acting out on the desire and thus committing a crime.You are just mad!!!! Being gay doesn't mean you are harming someone that dont want to have sex with you...it means you are having non hetero sex, but both parties are grown and want to do it, Rape is bad, and the children DONT WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH THE RAPIST CHILDMOLESTOR UNDER NO CONDITIONS, AND IT IS A CRIME TO RAPE...that's the different and it's not a mental disease its a perversion in your sexuality, they have a differnent sexual idea from the norm, but sadly it involves hurting innocent children, adults and children shouldn't have sex, nor should adults ingauage in sex with a child in any way, never, that's what's wrong with it, if two adults wanted to dress like little kids then have sex it wouldn't be wrong, two consenting adult, but let me tell you, no child WANTS to be raped, and that's what the molestor is doing. the molestor doesnt know how the child feels cause he or she don't care and cant connect the thought that this isn't how most people feel and the sexuality isn't normal...
