They don't like the new regulation, so they are giving money to Republicans instead. I know the far left is complaining about Obama not doing enough for the poor and the minorities, but the awful truth is that a Republican is going to oppress these folks instead of not helping them enough. So, the minorities and far left may stay home and pout, while the Republicans are energized and they will go to the polls and get what they want.
He will serve on boards and get lots of $ showing up to give a speech.

I think he will be able to make more $ that way that trying to go to work on a regular schedule.

Probably will have a new book or two on the market.
There are thousands of possibilities. I'd say Obama will start building his presidential library within ten years of leaving the White House. The least he will do is go on a world-wide lecture tour.
