Are Democrats giving up too much in these debt negotiations?

-They caved more tax cuts for the rich

They caved on not cutting loopholes for the rich

They caved on cutting social security and medicare

They caved on no cuts for the military

they caved on tying the whole thing to a balanced budget amendment



Correct me if I'm wrong but Dems seen to have given up everything but Reps have given up nothing, and the Dems have two houses of govt and the Reps only have one.Yes, they are. However, I can't help but think other things will come along that will change that,.....for instance.....tax on the wealthy. lets hope so.To negotiate, you have to have a bill.



they have no bill to comprimise from, they hadn't passed a budget before the republicans too the house.



They do nothing but pander.



So if they want comprimise, they should propose something.



Carney said the other day in a press conference, Obama had NO PLAN.



So how do you comprimise with no plan.
This is not a game. People are acting like this is some sort of contest between Democrats and Republicans, but it's not. These are issues that will decide the future sustainability of this nation.



Pick up a book on world history. Every great society in history has met its end due to excessive spending. No nation can live outside its means forever!
No they are getting too much they are spending money like drunken sailors on leave. My apology to sailors.
But WE didn't give up the 2012 election... so we will get the House back, retain the Senate and the White House, and do whatever we want.
